ROI (Return on Investment)

The average return on investment for an on-grid Ortronic system is between 1 and 2 years. When used with solar panels, Ortronic can reduce the number of panels you need and save money while doing so. The average cost of solar panels is about $5/watt. This means that if your building uses 48kw of energy then you would spend about $290,000 on panels to account for your electrical needs. With an Ortronic system you would only spend $87,000 on panels. In this instance your savings would be realized on your initial purchase.

Tax Incentives

The federal government currently offers a $1.80/sq foot tax credit for commercial properties that can reduce their energy by 50% compared to the national average for buildings of similar size. In addition to this homeowners are eligible to receive tax credits for energy efficiency. For ore information on tax programs visit http://www.energy.gov/taxbreaks.htm
