The Nextec Regeneration System has three critical system components, the charger, the inverter and the battery bank. The inverter is the heart of the system. Energy flows from the grid, generator, or alternative source, into the charger, where it is converted to DC and stored in the battery bank. The inverter then creates AC from the battery bank’s DC supply and uses this to power your facility. The inverter also captures reactive energy produced by your appliances and stores it in the battery bank. Once the bank is fully charged the inverter shuts off the grid, generator or alternative source and runs your appliances with the energy stored in the batteries. Essentially, the Nextec Regeneration System uses reactive energy produced by your appliances to charge the batteries, then inverts the DC stored in those batteries into usable AC power and supplies it to your load.
Charger - The charger receives AC or DC current from one or more power sourcesand uses it to charge a battery bank.
Battery Options
Light Weight - For applications where weight is a concern lithium ion batteries are used.
Standard - For applications where space and weight are not a concern, and where consumption rates are “normal”, 12V 200AH deep cycle batteries can be used.
High Volume - For applications where consumption is higher than normal 2V high AH batteries are used.
Monitoring
For customers needing the ability to monitor their Nextec Regeneration System, Nextec offers a proprietary monitoring system. This system alerts the user to any malfunction or variation within the Nextec system parameters. This allows the user to determine the remaining battery life, and to replace damaged or old batteries before the batteries reach a critical failure. The system also indicates any deviation from the normal operating conditions determined for a clients system based upon the clients needs, and gives the option of realtime web based remote operation and system bypass as well as automated pre-determined responses to adverse operating conditions.
